Darkshines was founded at the beginning of 2003 in Kragujevac by Branislav Blagojevic and Ivan Ilic with a sole aim to contribute to the music scene with something yet unheard. They succeeded in this by the arrival of a young and perspective singer Jelena Savkovic. Another two members joined the band- Branko Stikovic (bass) and Vojin Ratkovic (drums) and the first album was created. The album had been recorded in the 'Renaissance' studio in Kragujevac for over a year. It was produced by Branislav Blagojevic and Nikola Bircarevic. What prevails on the album are tracks with gothic-progressive-thrash sound characterized by excellent production. It was first noted by PGP-RTS and Darkshines was given an opportunity to record the first album for the greatest recording company in the Balkans. The debut album 'WHERE' was released in Jun 2005 and the eight compositions easily appealed to a great number of listeners, especially the songs 'Let Me in Your Heart', 'One Day the Sun Will Die', with which the band was awarded the t

Polish death metal band
Decapitated is a Polish death metal band formed in Krosno in 1996. The group is composed of guitarist, founder and composer Wacław "Vogg" Kiełtyka, vocalist Eemeli Bodde, bassist Paweł Pasek and drummer James Stewart. Decapitated are recognized as one of the death metal's most widely respected bands[2] and one of the finest exponents of technical death metal. The band earned an international fan base in the underground music community[3] and became an innovating act in the modern death metal genre.[4]
Vogg and his younger brother, drummer Witold "Vitek" Kiełtyka, founded Decapitated along with vocalist Wojciech "Sauron" Wąsowicz in their mid-teens, joined by bassist Marcin "Martin" Rygiel one year later. After releasing two demos, the band signed with Wicked World (subsidiary of Earache Records) and released their debut album Winds of Creation in 2000. In 2002 and 2004 the band released the albums Nihility and The Negation, respectively. The band's fourth album, Organic Hallucinosis was released in 2006 with vocalist Adrian "Covan" Kowanek, who had replaced Wąsowicz the year before.
